Welcome to NEED FOR NATURE Nature Therapeutic Refuge!

Situated in Denmark’s youngest National Park Kongernes Nordsjælland we are dedicated to sparking your intrinsic need for nature connectedness, and bring you closer to the nature around you, and even closer to yourself. We believe in the power of nature to heal and restore, and we’ve crafted a refuge which takes into account the therapeutic effects of nature.

The Nature Theraputic Refuge, Naturterapeutisk Refugie, is a family-run retreat place and your hosts are third and fourth generation in the house. We are your host family; Tanya Uhnger Wünsche and Gunnar Uhnger and our children Oskar and Silje. We have experienced finding a deep connection with nature from merely being and living in the Refuge, and are now sharing this Nature Connected feeling with others. In 2020 we opened the doors to invite fellow-human beings to get out of town to disconnect from the busy everyday life, and reconnect with the natural world, embracing simplicity and the beauty of togetherness in our cozy space.
